I recently stayed at a charming hotel just a short walk from the main attractions in a beautiful town. The hotel offers great value for money, with reasonable prices for the rooms. The attention to detail is impressive, with comfortable beds and well-maintained bathrooms. I particularly enjoyed the balcony with its lovely views. The staff were friendly and provided excellent service throughout my stay.
All aspects of my stay were just fine, nothing to complain about.

Very nice accomodations for the price. Breakfast included was also very good. Overall a very nice place to stay in Villa de Leyva.
It was a little far from the main square of Villa de Leyva so the location wasn't entirely ideal.

Stuff was AMICABLE and we loved our stay. The downtown is within 10 minutes' walk. Maitri sasson vegan, where you can eat, is walking distance to the hotel. Not to mention free wifi.

Very nice place, staff very friendly and helpful, comfortable bed, nice surroundings, colonial style. I stayed in a junior suite with a king size bed, both the room and the bathroom were very comfortable and roomy.
Water accumulated in the shower, no kleenex tissue, service room only until 9:00 pm, no calls from the room (You need to call the front desk, they make the call and transfer it to your room).

We loved our suite. It was gorgeous and roomy. The bathroom was amazing with beautiful double sinks, a large mirror and a jacuzzi tub. The room was very spacious and the bed was comfortable. The service was very helpful.

The rooms were spacious and the beds were comfortable. , the bathrooms were quite big and clean. The location was convenient, close to the main square and the bus terminal, making it easy to get around. the breakfast was simple but enough to get you started on the day.
The hotel was quite noisy. There was a lot of traffic noise from the street, and the walls were not soundproof, making it difficult to sleep.

The hotel was so charming and beautiful, and the room--a Junior Suite-- was clean and comfortable. You can request use of the jacuzzi (a giant outdoor bubble bath) at any time, and there are also hammocks on the room's balcony to relax outside in Villa de Leyva's perfect weather. The garden dwarfs in the flower beds only make the place seem more like Snow White's cottage. And it's only five minutes to the town's main plaza.
It's a small operation, so don't be surprised if they run out of cold water bottles.

I was pleasantly surprised when I entered my room. I think the rooms were recently refurbished and the bathroom was beautiful (very pretty mosaic tiles in the sink). It is about a 10 minute walk from the bus terminal and the roads/pavements were a little muddy due to heavy rain. My only complaint is that the room was a little cold so I had to ask for a mini heater which did not arrive until later on that night. Although free WiFi was available throughout the hotel, there wasn't actually a desk in my room so I had to work with the computer on my lap or bed! There were also a lack of power points in the room and there was no fridge (or mini bar). Apart from those minor complaints, it was a beautiful hotel and I would strongly recommend it.

The hotel staff is very friendly, very rustic and calm feelings, the suits are large and comfortable. It looks much better on the inside than on the outside. Good food at the hotel.
The city is very old and roads are rough so drive slow, the outside of the hotel will deceive you, you would give it a 2nd thought if you just look at the outside. The inside is much better !!

The hotel had a good location, with easy access to main attractions and public transportation. the staff was friendly and helpful during check-in and provided me with useful information for my stay. the breakfast offered a decent variety of options, including fresh fruit and pastries.
My experience at the hotel was not as enjoyable as I hoped. the room was small and cramped, with outdated decor and uncomfortable bedding.

We loved the charming design of the hotel, especially the balcony with its hammock-chairs and the swimming pool at the back. It was conveniently located within walking distance to the town center. The helpful staff made our stay more enjoyable and the delicious breakfast with a good choice of hot food kept us fueled for the day ahead.
Almost perfect.
